I officially hate dA now. I hate the new format of the pages, the journals, pretty much all of it. Another classic example of clusterfucking up of what worked just fine. Way to go, dA. Good job you! Not.

I held hope out for dA for awhile but no longer. It's rapidly becoming a cesspool on damn near all fronts. Far too many fronts for me to want to wade through. So I don't anymore except for rarely. The only problem with that is since I log in so rarely, when I do I have 18 gazillion messages and journals and polls (STOP WITH THE FUCKING POLLS YOU DUMBASSES WHO HAVE NO LIFE APPARENTLY) and deviations. I've solved the problem in one fell swoop. I just unclicked all the people I had on watch. I no longer will get any deviations, journals, polls, etc. I still have them on watch but now I can go thumb through their pages as I choose without the stress.

So anyways. Tomorrow is my birthday. 42 years old. I've completed 42 full years of life and have now entered year number 43 (technically tomorrow I will have but since it's my journal, lets not split hairs, shall we).

Time marches on. Things remain much the same in my life and totally differernt since I last really inhabited this place. I have no need nor desire to share any of it here. Suffice it to say, I am a "young old soul full of water and light and slinkies." And at the grand age of 42 years old, I am mature and wise enough to hold fast and tight to what is surely the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me.

Life is good.

Please no gifts for my birthday but rather just STOP WITH THE POLLS.
