The other day I was debating what color to paint my K5, gold because it would look good with the interior or the acid neon metallic green which just makes me grin but wont look as good with the interior.  Marcus rightly told me to paint it green (green is good in trucks only) because I always say Live Out Loud.  Nothing quite says living out loud like a acid neon metallic green K5 with skull and cross bones on the door!  So green it is!  Can't wait to get him back from the shop this week.  

Then today I was at breakfast with my son at a local mom and pop diner.  We walked in and lo and behold there on the bulletin board at the entrance was a wanted poster with the Lone Ranger on it!  I saw the Lone Ranger at an intersection a couple of weeks ago and about died.  I didn't have time to track him down and figure out what he was doing in town but I was so so excited that I saw him!  Seriously, The Lone Ranger on Silver at an intersection!  So here is this wanted poster with a picture of him.  I asked the waitress and she said, "Oh yeah, he works here - that's him behind the stove."  OMG!  I found him!  And, as if that wasn't enough!  The diner owners are apparently big John Wayne fans so there is The Duke all over the diner and on the menu!  I had the John Wayne omelet.  Perfect day.  They gave me a photo of the Lone Ranger and signed it!  Next time he goes out we will get a picture of him and run it in the newspaper.

A couple of weeks ago I had breakfast with Ray Wylie Hubbard and Marcus J. Ranum.  I am not sure if that tops breakfast with my son, the Lone Ranger and The Duke but it probably equals it.  Breakfast has been good to me lately!

And lastly, I was updating my twitter thing to set it to where my son can see my tweets.  I happened to notice what I had written on my profile about me thingy.  

Who you are is more than what you've done. Who you are is more than what you have. Who you are is what beats in your heart. Let it be loud.


That makes me smile.  Really bigly.  Let it be loud.
